Knowlwood is a family oriented tennis club with popular junior and adult tennis programs. Established in 1970, Knowlwood Tennis Club is a unique get-a-way in the heart of Montecito. Knowlwood is a family oriented tennis club with popular junior and adult tennis programs. A dedicated and enthusiastic team of teaching pros offer private lessons and group clinics for all ages and skills. Knowlwood started with a single tennis court, club house and a love of the game. Players could come out on Saturday afternoons, put a dollar in the donation jar and hit with a tennis pro to their heart's content. The club has since expanded to 10 courts (8 hard courts and 2 clay) and remains a club owned and operated by its members with a common love for the game. There is a cap on the number of members and the only time a spot comes up is when a family opts out of the membership.
